This is my second post on this matter with additional informations:
Operating system: windows 2000 prof SP 4

Today I have tryed upgrading first version of Ad-Adware 2007 to last 7.0.1.3 but this updating requires
unistalling of oldest version and I cannot unistall it as I receive MESSAGE FOR ERROR 2738.

In other word my old version doesn't work any longar and I cannot install the updated one.

What can I do to solve this matter ?

Finally I tryed to delete from registry LEGANCY AAWSERVICE key but this key cannot be deleted and
updating continues telling me that I have an old version running !!

Is anybodythere that could me solving this matter ?

try running "regsvr32 vbscript.dll" (without the quotes) before uninstalling and if that doesn't work the only other option would be to remove the folder Adaware from the C:\Programs Files\Lavasoft directory and then run a registry cleaner like Crap Cleaner.

Make sure you are an Administrater when uninstalling/install Ad-Aware

I tried your suggestion to run regsvr32 vbscript.dll and it worked fine, so I was able reintalling
Ad-Aware 2007.
