But how come the OLD Ad-Aware Se works fine but the 2007 will Not???

try this > switch from aero style to windows classic > try to run a scan >If it matches , ok !
At least you can manage until Vista version is ready ( 3 Q they think ).

well you don't have to switch to windows classic

all you have to do is

select the following in the pictures

see no classic mode needed
it will scan without fail and it will not have those "tstring... errors
works better than the SE version of adaware

after you close out ad aware 2007 it will automaticly re-enable aero instantly

also i have been using vista since beta 2, i know alot of tricks to get stuff working
