Have had a lot of trouble installing AdAware 2007 Free. Deleted previous AdAware SE before installing.

The scan is working fine now but cannot update. Keep getting the following message:

SSL Download Failed.
SUGGESTED ACTION.
Run Webupdate.

I have tried to run an update but nothing happens when I click on Web Update.

I have the same exact failure on my new computer. Is windows Vista the problem???? Please let me know if anyone has the solution!

If you have a firewall running you may have to explicitly allow the update manager to connect to the Internet.

I added adaware2007 to list of exceptions in security center for my firewall but still cannot update.

Alot of these early "bugs" have been fixed in updates to the program now.

Please update your software using the webupdate to the latest version (currently 7.0.1.6 at this date) and most of these should be resolved.
