Hi
On complete scan of my system a malaware was found ,it is a registry entry. And the family description is
"Porn Dialer".
How ever the buttons for QUARANTINE & REMOVE at the end of scan is disabled,i.e, when i click on it nothing happens.

I have not tried to see if the IGNORE button too is disabled, since i do not know how to make the ad aware forget i had told it to ignore it earlier.
Apart from AdAware2007 free edition I have ZA security Suit.
How ever in the same scan session i am able to REMOVE the tracking cookies in the second tab.
Also 24hrs earlier i had few critical objects that were detected ( when this porn dialer was not present) those were successfully REMOVEd.

It is just with this MALWARE that the remove/quarantine buttons are not working.

However I think you want to delete it !?
>> start AAW2007 > open 'Scan > Quarantine & Ignore > Ignore list > checkmark the item you want to delete and then
do it <<

Thanks a lot for ur advice. How ever , it is an answer to my secondary question( that is incase i press IGNORE to test if atleast IGNORE is working when dealing with this malaware)


My main problem is that after the scan is complete, iam not able to take action , i.e REMOVE , or QUARANTINE it.
ZASecurity doesnt find it at all.
as said earlier it is a TAI 5 level , registry entry, malware of porn dialer family (not beating around the bush )

Hello everyone.

I had just run a complete scan after updating with new definition file. The malware has disappeared.
Think this is what they consider as "false positive" (something that is wrongly tagged as a threat/ spyware). Looks like
with the new updated definition file it has been corrected.
