Is the fact that for some people, there is nothing found after running a scan, not even cookies or MRU's, on the 'to do' list?? This makes aaw 2007 useless for those experiencing this and you do not even acknowledge this issue. Can you at least say that it is being looked at??

Yes all issues are being looked at.

I must stress the importance of providing detailed information about what goes wrong, though, because the more detailed information we have, the easier it will be for us to address the problem.

For example, if Ad-Aware 2007 does not find cookies - please tell us what OS and web browser you are running. If you compare the detection rate to other programs, give a few examples of what is detected in that software that Ad-Aware 2007 misses.

WHen I first downloaded the free version of AAW 2007, every scan I ran, it detected many tracking cookies (as did the old SE version)--on one scan it found over 100. They were listed under Privacy Objects. Great that it found so many but it would only delete a few (problem with the "presentation" in summary. But then, all of the sudden it stopped detecting ANYTHING at all, not even MRU's which it used to do, this is after several scans run over a full day. I use windows xp and IE Explorer 7.0. As I said earlier, my concern is how many tracking cookies are now on my computer because it stopped detecting them. Something is definitely wrong, PLEASE investigate! Thanks!

(Edit: Hi James, have deleted all the duplicate posts for you. Regards, Spike)

Hi, alot of these early "bugs" have been fixed in updates to the program now.
See here for a list of bug fixes:

Please update your software using the webupdate to the latest version (currently 7.0.1.6 at this date) and most of these should be resolved.

Also, we have many of the most common problems addressed with solutions in this FAQ page smile.gif

Since this topic is now out of date information and no activity in quite a while, I'm moving this to the "resolved/inactive" section (read only). If your particular problem is not resolved or if you should have any further issues, please feel free to start a new topic.
