While running a deep scan, Ad-Aware 2007 apparently hangs while "scanning inside archive". I've reproduced this several times; each time it just sits there for hours, showing no sign of progress. There's no indication of what file it's scanning. It does respond slightly to mouse clicks (e.g. I was able to end it without using the Windows Task Manager), but AFAIK it's not doing anything useful. Nor can I delete any of the things it says it found.

There were a bunch of similar reports for beta 6 (http://beta2007.lavasoftsupport.com/forums/lofiversion/index.php/t761.html). It doesn't appear to have gotten fixed in the released version.

I just uninstalled the 2007 version, and am going back to the older SE version.

This is under WinXP, sp2.

Hi, alot of these early "bugs" have been fixed in updates to the program now.

Please update your software using the webupdate to the latest version (currently 7.0.1.6 at this date) and most of these should be resolved.
