Have made five attempts to register at the site address given in the Installation Guide (www.lavasoftsupport.com/support/customerregistration.php). In every instance, have received the following reply: "Fatal error: Call to undefined function: domxml_open_mem() in /data/iweb/storage/lavasoft/data/support/customerregistration.php on line 113" Two EMails to Customer Support have not been answered.

Checked the software Help menu, but found nothing germane. No entry for "Registration."

Can someone help me out?

I recently purchased SE plus also and am having the same problem. Have you found out how to register the product?

Hi JTW & jsfreaky,

It has been 6 years since I registered AAW Plus, so my memory is a little shaky but as far as I recall, it was an integral part of installation - the registration section popped up after purchase and installation (either that, or I received an email, giving me a link, with username and password, to register).

I just moved house and all my papers are boxed up, but it was one or the other - have either of you received an email like that?

Thanx for your reply. After reading your reply, I uninstalled and then reinstalled AAW SE Plus thinking that maybe I somehow missed something. Again, I have not received any such e-mail, pop-up or link.

After reading your reply a second time I noticed that you made reference to "the registration section popped up after purchase and installation". I did not purchase AAW SE Plus on-line. I purchased the software from Circuit City. It says in the Installation Guide and on the outside of the installation cd "To be eligible for Ad-Aware SE Plus Support, you must first register at www.lavasoftsupport.com/support/customerregistration.php

That site can no longer be found. I have search through lavasoft.com and the only place for any registration is the Support Forums. Just to cover all bases I even tried entering my Support Forums login info into the Support Center login screen and nothing.

Any ideas?

Found my Lavasoft paperwork (going back 7 years) - when I purchased AAW Plus in 10/2001, it was on-line through Lavasoft's e-seller element5.

Once they had completed my purchase (back then, US$15 for life biggrin.gif ), they sent me a username and password to download and activate my program, resulting in my having access to the Support Center.

Have just logged-into the Support Center at the new website, where I remembered that there is an FAQ which includes instructions for Retail Purchasers (like you). Unfortunately, that is one of the parts with a glitch or two still to be sorted out, so am unable to copy/paste it here for you.

I will do so, once I can actually get to it cool.gif

Hello, I also just purchased A-A se Plus in a Circuit City and can't find a place on the website to register. I e-mailed the Webmaster yesterday but have received no reply -. And I couldn't download new update, which is on day 15. mad.gif But I'm happy to find out that it's not just me! I hope this gets resolved quickly; I had no problem with free A-A even on the new site. rolleyes.gif

As promised, I am still working on the Retail Purchase Registration issue for you. I finally located the FAQ that I was after, but unfortunately it just gives the same link as your product CDs - am trying to correct the situation, as you can see in my post here: New Lavasoft website design, Post your feedback here

Hi all, this has been reported and should be fixed soon. (Well, maybe not over the weekend -but let's hope for next week anyway).

This is due to a recent website redesign that the page doesn't work.

You should still be able to update your Ad-Aware program. The recent delay in updates wasn't related to the retail customer's registration problem. Updates should now be available for SE1R125 06.10.2006

Anyway, to let you know we're aware of the problem and the Lavasoft staff will be working to resolve it. Will post back here as we know more.
