I have Ad-Aware SE and when I try to update I always have "error retrieving update",why?

i don't know, but i have the same problem. Does your update process stop at 5%? if it does, there is a fix in another thread. Mine stops at all kinds of points, mostly 81%. No idea what is wrong.

I have been receiving the same error message for over a month now. I don't see any percent complete at all. Has my free trial period expired?

I am having the same problem. It stops with an error message at 5%. Can you point me at the fix on the other thread please as I am a very newbie to all this.
