Since the last definitions update (SE1R110 31.05.2006) I am experiencing a system shutdown problem which may, or may not be, just a coincidence. A short way into the scan, at the start of the "modules" section, I get a Windows error message and a shutdown notification, something like:-

Initiated by NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM.
Windows\System32\services.exe terminated unexpectedly with status code =0

I have tried the suggested solutions in these forums with ref to "cancel/next/quarantine" but the computer is no longer responding by this stage. I have also run VundoFix which shows no affected files.

The hard drive is shown as clean using Registry Mechanic/NoAdware/Spyware Doctor/NOD32

Any help would be appreciated.
