Some time ago I got a nasty bunch of Vundo trojan and busky trojan junk, with pmnnn.dll and a mess of malware from a "windows Media Player needs a new codec to view this file" false download. All the troubles and more were removed (after uninstalling SP2 and running every scan I could), but IE 6 still gets Registry software add popups when I open IE to browse; I never use IE 6 (love the Firefox), so I have just ignored it. But I would like to know what is lingering and how to get rid of it...

So, here is my HJT log, let me know what I should do and thanks so much. I hope that this can broaden the trouble shooting for other members, too. The shear amount of scanning and processing done to un-root the last mess in my last posts, months ago, should help point out how weird this issue. Thanks!

This mess has been resolved with my old post. Thanks Jane and Administrators, please delete this post if you'd like. Anybody needing help regarding this matter (it's probably bigger than pop up issues), you can look in on my topic at:

Good Luck!
