As recommended to resolve the 5% download failures I uninstalled My Ad-Aware SE Personal, went to the Support Center and pulled in the new execuatable and prepared to install. I tried both Modify and Repair and both options (looked as if it skipped a screen on the install process) and they ended with the following error in a pop-up: "Error 1334. The file alert.wav cannot be installed because the file cannot be found in cabinet file 'Cabs.w1.cab'. This could indicate a network error, an error reading from the CD-ROM, or a problem with this package.' and the install closes without completing. Now what do you suggest?

I do not know if the one on the site has been corrected. I'll ask. In the mean time...
Uninstall, boot, download from the link above to desktop, etc., then install. (Or save to desktop first, if you like)
If that does not work, there was somebody running XP PRO that that still had some problems.
We (I am not with Lavasoft) don't know what those other things such as modify and repair is, but I hope
it didn't mess up your works.
