Wow! I couldn't believe it when I only saw the Manual & Uninstall routine in the program's menu! Ad-Aware simply had vanished!
Apparently, a spyware program got launched and took out the anti-spyware program.
All this last morning I was researching a couple of items on the web, outside of my favorite auction house, and probably ran into some heavy-duty, level 3 spyware.
After downloading the Ad-Aware software, I removed something like 36 SpyWare programs, (and I use the term in general notations) and that is about 10 more than usual.
I'm also a wonder if my ArcMax Gardening & Recipe email newsletters are dumping adware onto the computer as there is a 100% probablility of the adware recurring.
