Mine Too !!!
Something is wrong with my post (link) below asking the same question, so hopefully someone will post an answer for you that I can see as well.
It has been quite awhile that I have been getting that error message.

I, too, am having this problem for the last few days. Today I decided to download AdAware again, just in case something was wrong with the program. However, the new download gave me the same error message. And - in addition - it said I hadn't updated in 57 days! So I'm in a worse position than I was before!
Hopefully, as you said, this is only temporary.

I am also having problems retyrieving updates, on 2 PCs. I also uninstalled, ran Registry Mechanic, and re-installed without success on 1 PC.
The only common update on the 2 PCs has been to install Zone Alarm Security Suite version 7.0.337.000.
I have verified that Ad-Aware has full access and is not being blocked by the firewall without success.
Note that when adding "Ad-Aware.exe" in Zone Alarm Program Control the program entry appears in the program list as "Ad-Aware SE Core Application". Could this be part of the problem?

There are many users with the same problem at the moment.
We believe it is caused by a change of ISP or a change in the DNS configuration.
Changing your DNS server configuration might do the trick.
Edit the DNS servers used in Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) properties of your Local Area Connection.
If you use Earthlink as ISP (or ISP owned by Earthlink) you can try this solution (provided by Earthlink) for working your way around the problem:

I have no idea how to do that. I do not have Earthlink. There has been no recent change with my provider of which I am aware.

The solution provided by Earthlink did work. However, it may be abit intimidating for some users.
