i bought ad-aware proffessional 2 years ago and stopped using it. well i just found my disc that was sent to me in the mail.

when i downloaded it, the program told me that there was a new version, 1.06 or something and asked me if i wanted to download it. when i went to the lavasoftusa website and tried to download it, the site told me to inout my email address and password, but i dont have my original email or password from 2 years ago.

my disc has my reference number on it, but i dont have and other information to go with it. what do i do from here, and is there any options for me in the first place?

well, now i now my user ID for element 5, but when i try to login to lavasoft to get the update the site says that my email address is not in there system?

Log back in to element5's Customer Care Center and collect all the info about your purchase, such as:
- Reference Number
- Purchase number
- Date of Purchase
- Number of Licenses (if more than one)
- email address used for purchase

Then, click on the "Technical Support" link, which takes you straight through to Lavasoft's General/Technical Support, which is located inside Lavasoft's Support Center- so you can access Lavasoft Customer Support without having to go through the log-in step. Give them all of the above info so that they can locate your account.

Lavasoft Customer Support are the only people who can sort out your Log-in details and assist you with re-accessing your product details and whether your license is still current or needs to be renewed (for another year). I am only a forum volunteer and as such, am not able to acceess any of your details myself.

Remember that Ad-Aware 2007 will be released soon in beta form, with the final product following some time later. Please see the Ad-Aware 2007 section of the forum.

the only thing mention on element 5 is my one "tibia" purchase. and it is only mentioned once, and i have subscribed to "tibia" multiple times.

On the element5 Log-in page, click the "User data forgotten or unknown?" link and enter the email address used when you purchased Ad-Aware. If you have more than one purchase linked to that address, it gives you the option to have the user-data from only one, or from all of the linked purchases, sent back to that email address. From your post above, it must have been a different email from the one for your "tibia" purchase.
