I have adaware se plus with adwatch. It is treating both windows media player, and amazon.com's own music player, like pop-ups: the player starts to come up when I Click on a music clip link, then disappears. When I turn off Ad Watch "active" setting, this stops happening. How should I fix this problem. I would prefer that Ad Watch be "active", and "automatic", IF POSSIBLE.

Automatic mode for ad-watch shoud be off.
Also, post the event log from ad-watch when this happens.

This is almost certainly due to the block popups aggressively option. This blocks pop-ups based on size rather than URL.


Start Ad-Aware SE, click on the gear icon, then click on the tweak button, click on the plus sign against ad-watch to expand the menu, and then click on "Block pop-ups aggressively" so that it shows as a red cross. Click the proceed button to save the changes.

Now stop and restart ad-watch and you should be able to use the Amazon site ok now.

Regarding the automatic option this should normally be left turned off since it will block all registry changes.
