I've just downloaded aawsepersonal.exe and attempted to install it. A window popped up stating "Error 1721. There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor."
I currently have 1.05 Personal installed on my Dell laptop running XP. Can't get a clue as to what program is needed. Any help will be appreciated.

I've solved my own problem. After checking the Event Properties log, I see that two programs are missing from the AdAware folder -- UNWISE.EXE and INSTALL.LOG. I found them in a backup folder, and the new installation now works.
