Hi kimrodney,
Did you purchase online through Lavasoft's e-seller,
element5 ? Or did you purchase a "boxed" product through a retail outlet?
If it was through
element5, you will need your
Reference number (different to your Purchase or Invoice number) from your purchase/registration process, as well as the date of purchase.
If you need to retrieve this information (the registration process advises purchasers to print out a copy for future reference), log into
element5's
Customer Care Center - as you will see, there are simple several ways to log in.
I am sending you a PM with an email address to help you resolve this matter (we don't post them on the forum - and I have edited
yours to keep them from the spambots), to be used once you have retrieved the above information.
Since you are using Build 1.05, it is probable that your annual license fee will have expired. Once inside the
Support Center, check the status of your License Info. If expired, go to License Renewals and pay the small fee to enable you to Upgrade to Ad-Aware SE Plus/Pro (whichever you purchased) Build 1.06r1. (See the "Ad-Aware 2007" section near the top of the main forum webpage - a renewed license would also allow you to upgrade again once it is released

)
You should also take the time to change Personal Info, such as your new email address.

it gives me MRU with several items all the time
MRU's are a list of
Most
Recently
Used items - rather like the list of recent documents in MS Word, and completely harmless. To stop them appearing, open Ad-Aware, click "Scan Now" and then configure the pre-scanning page as in this screenshot:

green tick and the
red crossIt might pay you to add this page to your Favourites List, so that you can come back and check those settings, once your program is up to date
