A bunch of things started happening with my computer today:

1) Bubbles started appearing saying that "firewalls are down, I am susceptible to attacks," and machine seemed to be paging endlessly;

2) Tried to run AdAware in response to this, and it froze upon reaching a certain file;

3) Restarted computer, old desktop dissappeared, now "Active Desktop Recovery" came up;

4) AdAware continues to freeze at the very same spot every time I run it;

5) Google search engine inaccessible; comes to a "google" looking page where I have to type in a code, then nothing happens.

Because I can't run Adaware, I don't know how to deal with these problems. I'm doing a large SpyBot scan at the moment.
