Today, I was infected with the "atrueprotection" spyware. It was succesfully cleaned with Adaware and Spybot. However, now I'm looking through my installed programs and came across a program titled "System Alert Popup" that is 2,112 mb. When I try to uninstall it, it asks to reboot the computer. I click on the reboot button, the computer reboots but the program is still there.

I searched the net a bit for some info but all I found were posts/fixes for the same file being placed in the System Tray. I am running Xindows XP with SP2 protected, I thought, with Norton Internet Security 2007, both of which are up to date.

Any help?? I'm new to spyware/malware and the whole message posting thing.
