My computer is never really off so i was wondering if any knew how to have Ad-Aware scan automatically or me sometime in the early morning. Not on start-up.

If anyone knows anything about that, I would appreciate it. Thanks

Scheduled scans are not available in Ad-Aware SE Personal. You need to upgrade to the Plus or Professional edition to have this functionality.

If you have a paid for version of Ad-aware SE then you can set up a Scheduled task.
to do this Open the Task Scheduler and then select the "Add Scheduled Task" icon. Follow the wizard and when appropriate, enter the required command line parameter.

"%programfiles%\Lavasoft\Ad-Aware SE Professional\Ad-Aware.exe" /full +update +auto

Note This command makes Ad-Aware check for definition file updates, then run a full system scan and automatically removes all detected items found.

but if you got the Personal/Free version then I recommend that you scan say while you have your .

I will move this subject into an FAQ, as I dont think we have one that deals ONLY with scheduled tasks.... I will have a look though and change some keywords in it if the FAQ is hard to find
