I have files saved under active X that cause IE and toolbar problems. This bubble pops up on the toolbar that says virus activity is found and download such and such and when u click on it it sends you to this shaddy website, the website also comes up when i start IE, its www.topsecurity.com ( i wouldnt go to this webpage) even though my home page is MSN.com. Well i decide to virus scan and ad-adware scan it. i use Trend Micro Pc-cillin for viruses and used PC-Cillin, Ad Aware SE Personal, Spybot Serch and Destroy, and Spyware Nuker, all up-to-date , all could not determine the casue of the problem. So then i search for files created on the day, after vigilatly searching i found that 3 files saved under C:\Program Files\ Video Active X Object, the files are: isaddon.dl, isamonitor.exe, and isamini.exe. I scaned each file serperatley and yet agian nothing that the anti-virus/anti-spyware could detect. But by now i decided to use Ad-Aware SE's Full scan and it finds isaddon.dl as a problem but cannot delete it. So then i try to delete them but then get the message "Cannot Delete _______ : Access is denied make sure the disk is not full or wrire-protected and that the file is not in use". Naturally i then checked the task manager and sure enough the .exe isa's were there, i ended both of them and then try deleting them, but same message! I checked the task manager agian and the isa.exe file s were back up, then i noticed everytime i ended one of them they would start back up.

So if anyone nos more then me about this problem then i beg you to help me out.
GreyLinning
ok it seems that Ad-Adware managed to take out the isa files when i restarted. But i still have and icon at the bottom right of the toolbar that gives me the bogus infection waring, its called "System Alert!" and have the problem when i start ie that sends me to that fonney website.

MY machine has recently been infected with isamonitor.exe, isaddon.dl and, isamini.exe but after a long struggle i manage to get rid of those. But iam still left with this annoying popup bubble. It's in the Right side of the tool bar and keeps popping up every couple of minutes , saying that virus activity is found, download such and such...clicking on the bubble opens up IE and leads to some bogus website.

Please help me get rid of it.

Restart your computer in Safe Mode.
  1. If the computer is running, shut down Windows, and then turn off the power.
  2. Wait 30 seconds, and then turn the computer on.
  3. Start tapping the F8 key. The Windows Advanced Options Menu will appear. If you begin tapping the F8 key too soon, some computers display a "keyboard error" message. To resolve this, restart the computer and try again.
  4. Ensure that the Safe Mode option is selected.
  5. Press Enter. The computer then begins to start in Safe Mode.
  6. Login on your usual account.
If you need further assistance with Safe Mode, see Symantec

Next do a file Search & delete these files and folders if found
C:\WINDOWS\cfg32r.dll<---This file
C:\Program Files\CMFibula\<---This folder

Now Restart in Normal Mode
