Ad-Watch is a real time monitor add-on included in the Ad-Aware SE Plus and Pro package.

It runs silently in the background, waiting for malware/parasites that try to install or modify your system. While Ad-Aware SE detects and cleans your system from known malware and advertising parasites, Ad-Watch goes even further by catching these programs before they even integrate in your system. If malware/parasites are detected, Ad-Watch steps in and unloads the particular module.

You can change the action taken by Ad-Watch in the options menu. Ad-Watch is also the part of the package that offers pop-up blocking capabilities. For Ad-Aware SE Plus and Ad-Aware SE Professional, Ad-Watch can be configured to block tracking cookies. In the Options screen in Ad-Watch check "Block tracking coockies" and Ad-Watch will block tracking cookies before entering your computer.
