I know that there is a procedure to fix this problem, but don't remember which one.

How and where can I configure Adaware to eliminate that some introductions are not blocked by this protection.
When I try to click on the "date panel" when entering a payment by pc banking I always have to eliminate Adaware.
I can enter and consult all the data in my bankaccount, but only the "date" is giving problems.

Thanks for helping.

Hi tuurke,

I assume (from my experience with my own 3 on-line banks) that the date function is in the form of a pop-up?

Ad-Watch has two pop-up blocking settings. The first is under Configuration > Tweak Settings > Block Pop-ups aggressively:

The other is in Ad-Watch itself - Tools > Options > Blocking Options > Activate pop-up blocker:

Personally, I have both of the items set to "on" (ie: Green tick), because I have added my on-line banks to my IE Trusted Sites - that way, I keep my Ad-Watch security but am allowed to use the date pop-up in my online banks.

If you use IE (these examples are from IE7), click on Tools > Internet Options > Security:

Highlight Trusted Sites and select Sites:

You are given the choice of adding only secure sites (https) or any site (http). Personally, I trust my banks, otherwise I wouldn't put any money with them...

Hope that this is the answer that you were looking for,

Regards,

Spike

I was adding my bank's- https in the security zone from IE, but have still the same problem.
I only have the problem with the date: when I try to go into the date module Adwatch is flashing "red". All other transactions can be done without problems.
I also have another bank but there I don't have the problem.

I try to remember "where" in Adaware ( probably in sites.txt...) I should put any change.

Thanks for your explicit and quick reply.

Hi tuurke,

Ad-Watch flashing red means that is blocking the action - I assume that the date module is in a pop-up or new window ?

Try turning off (red cross) the "Block Pop-ups aggressively" shown above.

Spike
