Did you try to run the .exe file from within the ad-aware folder itself? It won't work unless you navigate to that specific folder.

That is a standard Windows error message showing Windows can not find the command you entered.

As lbarry mentions you can navigate to the folder in which you installed Ad-Aware or you can enter the full path to the executable at the command prompt

e.g.

"c:\program files\lavasoft\Ad-Aware SE Plus\Ad-Aware.exe"

note you will need to include the quote marks because of the blanks in the full path name. The exact path will depend on which version of Ad-Aware you have and if you installed it to the default or a custom location.
