i'm having problems completely uninstalling Ad-aware SE from my computers registry to enable McAfee Virus Scan to install.

I have tried everything suggested on the forum links but can't find any of the folders to run and there are no software folders left on my hard drives. I saw that LS CalamityJane said there was a patch available from McAfee, does anyone know where I can find it? Or how to solve this issue? Much appreciated!! Sofie.

There is a link to a McAfee Forum Topic that contains regedit instructions to enable the removal of all traces of Ad-Aware. (As always, be very careful when using regedit).

NB: McAfee claims to have releaed a patch some months ago, which should allow you to re-install Ad-Aware SE once you have installed McAffee - let us know if you have any problems with that.
