I followed the instructions to clean out malaware, but my computer still has problems--the settings reset everytime I start the computer, my background is blue. I have run "several" anti-virus programs, but nothing fixes teh problem.

First of all having two anti-virus softwares on the same machine can conflict with one-another.
You might want to decide which one you like best and stick with that 'one'.

Please, close all applications including Internet Explorer, and Explorer, notepad is alright.
Open HijackThis and press 'Scan' placing a checkmark in the boxes in the fields of the items
left in the quote above.

Press Fix and close HijackThis.

Reboot.

Open Explorer browse to the folder of C:\Program Files.
If the folder 'MyWaySA' still exists Right-Click on it holding down the 'Shift' key and choose DELETE.
Answer Yes to confirm.

If Explorer will not let you remove the folder.

Reboot to Safe mode by restarting the machine, pressing on Function key 8 F8, until you
get to Windows XP boot options. Use the down arrow key to choose Safe Mode and press enter
when it is highlighted. When in safe mode use Explorer again to remove MyWaySA.

Reboot normally.

Everything else seems to be alright.
