Hi,

I installed today's SE1R129 26.10.2006 definitions, made a full scan and found these:

There's no TAC page for these findings ("TAC - No match found - There was no match found on this search") so I don't know if it's safe to delete them because of the many false positives from LS lately. I know these files are included in new today's definitions but I still need anyone more experienced to confirm..

Thanks

Hi 38 Special,

Please see these two posts in the Lavasoft Support Forums > Lavasoft - Announcements > Lavasoft News > Updates > Definition Updates section of the forum:
SE1R129 26.10.2006 is now available, new definition file for Ad-Aware SE.

From the different posting times, it would appear that SE1R129 may have been re-released. The second link states:

This fixes the false positive in Errorsafe and LIBBZ2.DLL

I would suggest that you try re-updating the Defs and re-scanning.

Let us know how you get on.

Thank you Spike,

Just installed the re-updated definitions and here is the results:

Now my question would be the same, can I safely delete the 'Win32.Trojan.Agent' without worries of a false positive?
btw, the TAC rating for this regkey is 10, however there is no description from the LS page.

Thanks!

Hi 38 Special,

Personally not sure - there is a post on a similarly named possible f/p here: false positive Win32.Trojan.Downloader?

Would advise you to watch the Lavasoft Support Forums > Lavasoft - General Support > False Positives section of the forum, in case of any current or future false positives (I do).

It would also be the best place to post Topics of your kind, as it is monitored by the Reseach Team.

Spike
