I use Ad-Aware SE Plus and have a problem as follows :
There are five icons at the very top. Normally if you run your mouse along any of these you should see what feature each one represents. Unfortunately I am getting no reaction when this action is performed.
Having said that if you double click on any of the icons, the feature appears.
Can anyone advise as to why the feature of each icon does not show when you run mouse over them.
Perhaps someone can info how to correct this irregularity or is that normal with them not indicating the feature.

On my Status page, as I hover over them from left to right, they read:

- Restores or Loads Ad-Watch
- Opens The Ad-Aware Configuration Window
- Opens the Quarantine Manager
- Opens the Integrated WebUpdate Tool
- About Ad-Aware SE

As long as you recognise the function of each one, I would ignore whichever glitch isn't giving you the "pop-ups".

Appreciate your response and taken on board what you say about the glitches. I was just curious as to why there was no response when running my mouse over the icons and if there was any way of correcting that irregularity (which to me is what it seemed to be).

Sorry, have no idea why you are not getting the "hover descriptions". Suspect that it may be due to an instalment issue.

On the other hand, it could be just about anything - this is the first time that this particular issue has been mentioned since I have been on the Board.

Funny that you should mention about an installment issue. When I first noticed this issue, I reinstalled thinking that might help but it did not.
Perhaps you can mention a site when I might be able to find the latest version where I might do a redownload and try to reinstall.
If that does not help I will maybe have to give it up as a case of bad luck on my part and accept the current situation.

Pls bear with me considering that I am not very conversent. Still in the learning curve.

Following those steps will tell you all about your current Ad-Aware status, address info, join date and which products you are currently allowed to download. The current Build Is Ad-Aware SE Plus 1.06r1 (bottom right of your main AAW status screen).

Please note ny comment on which Browser to use
