Hi,

My client has a brand new Dell desktop. I installed the free version of Adaware for her to use. She tried to scan for the first time, and the scan gets stuck at about file 2118. She has not been able to get it to complete a single scan. This is a brand new, clean, secured computer. Any ideas?

Hi kara333,

There are quite a few reasons for the scan to freeze - try the list of suggested fixes in my post in this thread: conditional scans? pc gets stuck on those
