hi

I reset my home page from google to abc.net.au and lavasoft keeps returning it to google even tho I have reset it in my preferences in Ad-AwareSE plus - Ad-WatchSE plus (which states that my default home page is www.abc.net.au) and in the control panel. How can I fix this?

I will clarify this further, in adware it shows my changed home page as abc.net.au but after it reverts in ie to be google instead of abc.net.au, I get a message about a registry modification re the changed home page from google to abc. Its ignoring its own preferences setting.

Please advise,

Madi

Hi dealtry,

Is Ad-Watch set to Automatic or Active?

If Automatic, it will silently block any changes.

Set it to Active, re-set the homepage as desired, then use the "Read current settings from system" option. Re-boot, and accept the Ad-Watch change (read it to ensure that it refers to your homepage).

All should be well after that smile.gif
