Whenever I start Adaware I get a message that my def file is compromised. When I try to update defs using the link on the status page I get the message that no updates are available. I have downloaded the zipped version from Lavasoft website and it works fine until I start adaware when logged onto the internet.

Anybody know what could be wrong?

Hi wackysacky,

Which version of Ad-Aware are you running - (free)Personal, or (paid-for) Plus/Pro?

Also, are you using the current Build, AdAware Se Build 1.06r1 (look in the lower-right corner of the main Ad-Aware status page)?
