I purchased Ad-Aware at a retail store-never registered it-tried to online and I must be doing something wrong. Either way, am I entititled to a free upgrade if I got it retail? Also, my virus defs. keep saying 9/19 and that they are old but I can't download new ones. Help please..

Which Build of Ad-Aware did you purchase? Since you are looking for an upgrade, I assume that it was not SE 1.06r1 ?

If it was the (paid-for) Plus/Pro versions, log in to the Support Center, using the email address and password from when you registered AAW Plus or Pro.

Select "User Information > License Info" - check to see whether your license has expired or not. If not, select "Resources > Product Downlods" and click on the link that applies to your license.

If it has expired, select "Customer E-Store > Renewal Instructions" and follow the prompts.
