Hi,

I just downloaded and installed version 1.06.

I checked the "scan now" during installation, but it never scans, the start-up window appears and disappears after a second or so. I also tried directly from folder.... same thing.....

My firewall allows outgoing of all IP's for adaware.exe.......

PLease help !!!!

I recomend that you uninstall the version of Ad-aware that you have the redownload a fresh copy of it and reinstall it

I had AdWare Se before, that's what I tried, but still the same. It is only working in Safe Mode. It seems to be virus or worn, but can get a hold on the beast. Even Task Manager disappears after a second.

I'm replting from another pc of mine.

or download and try
TrojanHunter (Note Trojan Scanner 30 day Trial)
Then once you have done clear out your cache folder again ie: Run
CCleaner
(Note in CCleaner: go to >options > advanced > Uncheck "Only delete files in Windows Temp folders older than 48 hours"). but see CCleaner Set up

then try scanning with Ad-aware doing a "Full Scan" and post your logfile here by using the "Add-reply" feature,
