The last update I have is SE1R124 9/19/06. Is that the latest?
I tried to check on the Lavasoft homepage, but couldn't get that page to load.

Yes, that is the latest update. Is the homepage still not working for you?

When I posted my question the homepage was not working. However, I now see that it is working.
I also tried to go to "http://www.lavasoft.de/" but that site was not working either. I see that it also is now working.
I was a bit concerned about the updates because I always received them every 7 days (approximately), but notice that is not the practice now (or so it seems).

Thank you for your response.

===================

Anyone have any idea when the next 'definitions' update will be released? I keep signing on each day to check, but nothing thus far.

Thanks.

Hi gotaro,

It will come when the researchers are satisfied with it - new variants are discovered often, sometimes several a day.

I have known it be longer between releases smile.gif

RE: Update Issue
Is there an answer to the question why we are receiving a reminder
'Your definitions are 15 days old. Would you like to check for updates now? I am running definition SE/IR 124.19.09/2006. Everytime I open
Ad-Aware I receive this message. I accept there are currently NO new updates. But why or what can be done to correct this contant reminder that the updates are 15 days old. Thank you.

You can avoid or change the update reminder by unchecking the "prompt to update outdated definitions" option and then apply changes (located under 'general settings')

Since the definition updates have been released I'm going to unpin, close and archive this topic in the "resolved" section smile.gif

SE1R125 05.10.2006 is now availiable, new definition file for Ad-Aware SE

Thanks for your patience. Due a server problem the definition file was late, and some of you may have had some trouble getting the download with the servers overloaded everyone downloading at once. I suggest you wait a bit and try again.

There are now numerous topics going re the downloading of updates, so please do not start another one. I'll have to merge those duplicates as well so we have just one everyone can refer to smile.gif
