I did a dumb thing and clicked on something that I knew I shouldnt have. -- this installed something that hijacked my system and I have spent days fixing it. I have cleaned most of the damage but I still get an occasional popup taking me to a dating site or winantiviruspro2006 with an xp style popup dialog box telling me that I am a dumbass for clicking on that bad program -- well it really says I have a vunarability and should click ok or cancel to scan for the virus. I am sure that either button would re-install more viruses.

anyway -- I have attached the latest hijack log in hope that you can help me find the little ###### that escapes my wrath. Thanks in advance for your help!!

I am still having problems with IE popups taking me to dating sites and other spyware websites, including popup XP boxes that say the computer is infected. What should I do next to remove this spyware program lurking in the sytem? Any suggestions?

Please download VundoFix.exe
to your desktop.

• Double-click VundoFix.exe to run it.
• Click the Scan for Vundo button.
• Once it's done scanning, click the Remove Vundo button.
• You will receive a prompt asking if you want to remove the files, click YES
• Once you click yes, your desktop will go blank as it starts removing Vundo.
• When completed, it will prompt that it will reboot your computer, click OK.
• Please post the contents of C:\vundofix.txt and a new HiJackThis log.

Note: It is possible that VundoFix encountered a file it could not remove.
In this case, VundoFix will run on reboot, simply follow the above
instructions starting from "Click the Scan for Vundo button." when
VundoFix appears at reboot.
