Hi, long ago my spouse bought AdAware Pro on my urging (I'm a Mac user). Last year, on advice of the person who maintains her Windows machine, she bought Trend Micro's PC-Cillin, which supposedly includes Ad-Aware among its other tools.
The advice with PC-Cillin was that it contains a version of Ad-Aware -- so no longer needed to keep AdAware updated -- that the automatic PC-Cillin updates suffice.
So far, so good. But I wanted to check and find out if this is accurate, or if they meant "works like" or "almost as good as ..." or if they really have licensed AdAware as part of PC-Cillin.
Don't blame Trend Micro if this is wrong -- it's what she told me that the consultant told her, and you know how gossip is.
