Hi

I have a conflict with AOL Spyware Protection and Itunes. I had this problem for about a month now.

Basically, the aol spyware is picking up a trojan called win32.pcast even though Lavasoft, ewido and Norton is not picking this up. The software blocks the virus and everything seems fine.

But when I reboot the machine or turn the machine on, Itunes windows installer comes on and tries to install. Then a pop up alert from AOL Spyware protection comes on stating that win32.pcast is blocked again. It is a continuous cycle and it is very annoying.

I have contacted AOL, Norton and Ewido about the problem. They haven't got a clue what to do.

Can anyone throw some light on this problem? Is the file Win32.pcast a false positive?
Mimsey
Yes, a false positive.
