Hi! I was under the (possibly mistaken) understanding, that you should remove any spyware or adware programs when you weren't using them as they could interfere with the programs you use on a daily basis for scans. Either way, I downloaded Ad-Aware SE Personal before, a ton of times and have never had a problem removing it. Today, however, a "Wise Uninstall" message comes up when I try to remove Ad-Aware from my program list. It says "Could not open INSTALL.LOG.file". I've even tried running that, but don't seem to be able to find an install.log.file. Can anyone tell me what happened? How can I remove it or access it to remove it? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!!!!

Hi Ezmerelda,
It isn't multiple anti-spyware/adware programs that conflict with each other (well, not generally ),
but multiple "active" anti-virus and firewall programs. You should only ever have one of each of those running at the same time.
