I recently installed the latest edition of Ad-Aware free, and now I am not able to shop through ebates. I realize some consider this a site to be blocked, but I wish to shop through it and would like to undo what Ad-Aware has done. I've tried editing the host file, but the one I find (Windows\system32\drivers\etc) had no changes in the past year, and none of the ebates sites are blocked by it. I used Ad-Aware (many!) years ago, and at that time it offered the option of blocking or not blocking particular sites. I've spent hours trying to figure this out on my own, but I'm not able to. Can someone point me to what was changed, so that I can restore it?
Thank you.

Did it happen after installation or after scanning?
Are you getting blocked from the website completely, or just the shopping functions?
It's odd, because Ad-Aware Free only includes processes protection, which would hinder you only if ebates installed an application on your system which is necessary to shop. If it happened after scanning, cookies may have been deleted - you can check what was detected in Ad-Aware - see the instruction manual by clicking "Help" or here:

I did do a scan, so likely that's when it happened. I am blocked only from the shopping functions.
I'll check for deleted cookies. Thanks very much for your help!
