Hi ... I used the free version of Ad-Aware for ages and never no problems till today i updated and done a scan. I use Stop Anti-virus and have done for ages... it showed up in the scan i told it to ignore and carried on, on the next reboot it removed some of the anti-virus and after boot up i couldnt use the anti-virus and Ad-Aware kept stoping it, i had that many problems i just uninstalledAd-Aware and all was ok... this is on my Win-XP.
My Vista 64 went Nuts! I updated and used Ad-Aware it rebooted got to the User login on Vista boot up....Shut down restarted and then done the same up to User login and restart..looop.. same in safe mode .... i had to put my Vista Disc in and Restore back up ...Once done i unistalled Ad-Aware and its been ok..
Never had this problem before lol....tell me when you have sorted and i will reinstall. Dont want to go though that again.

Hi GsC!

We would need a Ad-Aware logfile from the scans from where the object/objects were detected i order to analyze the issue further. A guide for posting false positives is available at, http://www.lavasoftsupport.com/index.php?showtopic=18033

Are you using "Stop Anti-virus" on your Vista 64-Bit system too? Could you provide a link to where the "Stop Anti-virus" application you are using could be downloaded?

Hi again GsC!

Thanks for providing the download link smile.gif
We will investigate this issue further and if the file/files are falsely detected by Ad-Aware they will be removed from detection as of the next definition file update.
