For some reason after I allowed my adaware's request for connection to the internet I've been getting this popup for help on remote assistance from the help topic in windows. Is adaware connecting to remote assistance? Why? How can I make the popup and the remote assistance stop?
Appreciate if anyone can help.

I have both Remote Assistance and Remote Desktop disabled under system properties. Unless you use them, I think it's safer to turn them off so they're not an exploitable vulnerability.

Okay, how do I disable remote assistance?
Also, is it due to adaware that I'm getting the popups? Thanks.
I'm not sure what's causing it, I've never experienced the popups. I have XP Pro. To disable, right-click My Computer > Properties > Remote tab > uncheck Remote Assistance and Remote Desktop > click OK.
