I have been unable to access Ad aware after the update as many people have been experiencing.
I finally had time to go on a chat since I am a paid subscriber.
I hope this helps as I was able to get my service working again after 2 weeks of reading hundreds of blogs.

- clean out Adaware with Revo....re boot....
- re-install.....when you get to the agreement page, check I agree and go click on the "customized installation" that was grey before agreeing.
- click next again
- at the top UNCLICK the box that says "adwatch live" or "ad watch" ( I am doing this from memory)
- continue with installation as normal.

Note: I did get an error message when update manager finished all the updates saying "connection error, check your settings" . I checked my services, properties, and made sure start up was on "Automatic. Closed everything, and main screen popped up and started a full scan.
I was going to get an email on how to manually install Ad watch. I will post this ASAP.

I hope this helps and I posted this right away to possibly help anyone who is pissed off like I was....

Tedee83, thanks for posting back your results from paid support. This is the fix we usually suggest for installation error 2343. Interesting that it worked to fix the "failed to connect to service" error. I'll keep it on file for future reference in that regard.
