I am still running XP. I upgraded to 8.1 and noticed that once I set up a scan to run it would completely disappear after a period of time. I checked for updates and installed the update this week but to no avail. I did notice just now that it scanned for 5:50 and had scanned 103413 objects and was scanning CLSID's and it suddenly stopped and disappeared at 6:04. I check the task manager and AAWService.exe is still running and reads have almost completely stopped i.e. 1 additional read per minute.
