I've seen some hints of this issue on other threads here, but I can't quite discern how to deal with the issue.

I've just downloaded the free version and I'm trying to install.

I'm getting a message saying that I need to manually install C++ Runtime 9.0 Service Pack 1.

What confuses me, is that I have Service Pack 3.

I'm probably just missing something really simple (or at least I hope I am).

Thanks.

I imagine that you are a little confused smile.gif I think you're refering to having Service Pack 3 installed for Windows XP not the C++ Runtime.

You can download the runtime here.

That is probably the issue. Sadly, I get a series of errors when I try to install C++ Runtime, but that's an issue I'd have to take up with Microsoft. I'll probably just go ahead and reformat the hard drive.

Thanks for answering my question, though. That should have solved my issue.

Before you reformat, uninstall whatever version of the C++ runtime you have and then try and install this version smile.gif
