Hi!!

I would like to use vmware workstation 5.5 on my lavasoft personal firewall protected PC. But if the firewall had been enabled, the virtual machine could not communicate on the network. The firewall say:

11:23:17 n/a IN REFUSED TCP 10.7.0.21 PROXY:3128 Block Transit Packets

How can i configure lpf to grant access for "transit packets"??

I noticed you're encountering the same thing I am when I try to access external resources while I'm connected to the VPN server I administer. Has anyone found a way to allow Transit Packets through lpfw? I really need to get this part working or this particular firewall is not likely to be suitable to my use. Thanks in advance,

I found the same problem, but I think I've figured it out. I tried to add new rule with this settings:

Where the direction is Outbound (then you can select packet type) and the packet type is (here you select) Transit
Where the specified local host is (your VPN network settings).
And Allow it.

And finally I wanted to setup VPN network from windows and I found for me important settings:

On client computer in settings for the VPN connection, you chose properties, networks, TCP/IP configuration - properties, more (there is some button, but I don't know its english version name) and there you can unset using remote gateway. And it works.
