Can ad-aware ae detect and remove "webwatcher" by awareness technologies? Thank you in advance for your reply.

I'm not sure what Lavasoft's position on this would be since webwatcher is actually a valid program. It is, as you probably know, parental control software and so is not really malware- although I could see why you might want it removed.

Thank you for your quick response.

Webwatcher can record keystrokes, emails and websites and sends this information to another location. Plus it runs undetected. This software can and is used as SPYWARE, thus it is a threat.

We do detect monitoring tools and if a user has suspicions about such a prgram, they could submit to us for investigation. Your best bet is to send us a copy of the file to research@lavasoft.com.
