Hello! Ive read through several forums and whatnot to fixing the problem of ad aware not starting and just saying "loading..." and then disappearing and saying "connection error: failed to connect to service."

I am having this exact problem and have not been able to resolve it using the directions I could find. I went under the Administrative Tools and Services tab and did not find Lavasoft Ad Aware listed at all.

Could somebody PLEASE provide step-by-step instructions on how to fix this problem.

If none of these work, you may be infected with malware which prevents Ad-Aware service installation. Read the instructions in my signature for help with malware removal.
