Hi, from Yorkshire,UK.
When Microsoft last released a mega-bundle of security updates (June), this site was swamped with queries due to errors in their programs.
I've just installed the latest bundle - there were 19 and it took 45 minutes (slow broadband!) No problems so far - touch wood!
Should we congratulate Microsoft for getting it right this time or should we question why they can't release such updates in smaller bundles, over a period of time?
What do you think?

MS releases security updates the 2nd Tues every month, more often if critical. I download them manually:

I guess it was a heavy month - I did 12 updates. In August it was 13, but only 7 back in June (XP SP2).

After running the updates and deleting the installers, I noticed drive free space dropped by ~700mb. I'm assuming most of this is due to all the restore points - I'll have to see if the free space is recovered once the restore points expire.
