Just recently my computer has sloooowed way down. To the point where it took me several minutes just to open this page.
I've tried to download the new ad-aware, but when I do it reports that it will take over 100 hours to download.
I've also noticed that when I'm at home, when my ##nospam is using my home's wifi, it too has slowed down.
My computer and phone indicate that I have a strong signal, but I don't understand why both would be slow.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

To get some clue you need to provide a few logs for me smile.gif

Download DDS and save it to your desktop from here or here or here.
Disable any script blocker, and then double click dds.scr to run the tool.
  • When done, DDS will open two (2) logs:
    1. DDS.txt
    2. Attach.txt
  • Save both reports to your desktop. Post them back to your topic.

    Thank you in advance.

    I've attached both of the documents. Unfortunately, another side affect of my problem is that sometimes my internet says that I'm disconnected, when in reality I'm not. So every time I tried to post these documents, that is what has happened.
    Hopefully the attachments will suffice.

    Registry::
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\security center\Monitoring]
    "DisableMonitoring"=dword:00000000
    [-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\security center\Monitoring\SymantecAntiVirus]
    [-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\security center\Monitoring\SymantecFirewall]

    Uninstall your current Adobe shockwave player and get the fresh one here if needed.
