Hi.
I have been using Ad-Aware free AE for 14 days now.
I have experienced a great problem.
1. Upon shut downs my system hangs - has not done that before.
2. All my password`s are gone between shut down and upon start of my pc.
3. I have now uininstalled Ad-Aware.
The result :
4. My system does not hang anymore.
5. My passwords are still there.
It is a pity because i like the program exept for one thing :
I want to decide when to scan.
I don`t want it to start with vista.

I want to decide when to scan.

Ad-Aware scans are started manually using the scan button. The automated Scan Scheduler is not available with the Free version.

I don`t want it to start with vista.

Go to Settings - Ad-Watch Live! - General - and uncheck Processes protection module
(Registry and Network modules available only with Plus and Pro versions).
After reboot, Ad-Aware real-time protection will not start.

Go to Settings - Appearance - General - for option to hide taskbar icons/messages.

Also, with Vista, can you unselect Ad-Aware from msconfig startup like with XP?
